The West End Terrace Story
Harold “H” Hill always dreamed of owning a great restaurant and bar with a gastropub environment. H jumped at the chance in 2013 to purchase the long-established West End Station, a staple of college life for Elon students and a familiar go-to for locals. H’s vision for the future of West End was inspired by the dynamic restaurant/bar scenes of Asheville and South Beach. H wanted a place where the Elon Community can come together to enjoy innovative food, craft beer, and original cocktails. He changed the name to the “West End Terrace” and added a beautiful outdoor terrace for diners to enjoy nearly year round. H also updated the interior, giving it an open, edgy, urban feel.
The menu, designed by Chef Anthony Hutson, features an eclectic mix of organic, healthy food – specialty tacos, burgers, delicious paninis, brunch items, and exquisite salads. It’s “easy gourmet,” featuring a range of appetizers and entrees that are unique to West End Terrace. To complement the unique menu, West End Terrace features more than 21 craft beers on tap and offers a list of hearty wines, delicious cocktails and the refreshing southern classic – tea. Each week, West End features new beers. H and his team also offer classes for patrons eager to learn more about craft beers.
West End Terrace isn’t just an eclectic menu, a hip space and great music. A young, energetic staff from around the world come together to create an experience that West End patrons will enjoy time and time again. So whether you want great food, delicious beverages, exciting music or just to sit in the sun, West End Terrace is a great destination for you.
